For foreign founders with complete information and documentation, incorporation is typically completed within 1 to 3 business days, subject to ACRA approval and any additional due diligence requirements.
Do foreigners need a local director to incorporate a company in Singapore?
Yes. Singapore law requires every company to appoint at least one locally resident director. Where this requirement is not met, a nominee director arrangement may be required.
Can a foreigner incorporate a Singapore company without being physically present?
Yes. Foreigners can incorporate a Singapore company remotely. All required documents can be submitted electronically, subject to identity verification and regulatory requirements.
